FUNDAMENTALS - PHOTOSHOP - VISUALIZATION - MASTER CLASSES
For the Fundamentals classes, printed materials include a comprehensive reference guide for the student's camera, an "Everything you ever need to know about Photography" cheat sheet, other related materials re how to use the camera's manual settings and how to determine the critical correct exposure using Ansel Adams' Zone System circa 1943. These materials will be used as the basis for our discussions and an outline for the classes.
For all classes:Each session will be recorded and those recordings will be made available to the student the next day. Each class will cover a lot of information and these recordings are a great way for the student to review what we have covered. The Videos are high resolution, can be downloaded by the student and will be stored on PhotoArts California's Cloud server for four months.
During the classes we will be able to share screens so that I can see and discuss your work in real time and direct how to deal with "issues". This is helpful for Photoshop when we can work together to navigate the tools and menus and then have a record of the work flow.
For all of the classes we will discuss how "I" do it but this is really about how you are going to do it. These classes guide the student not push the student.
Fundamentals of Photography - Camera Works
For each class we will cover the Basics for each student’s camera, the craft of photography and how to apply those tools to make it possible to go from taking photographs to creating great photographs.
Photoshop is considered to be difficult if not impossible to work with. In these sessions we will work with together on your photographs and each student will have the hands on experience of how this wonderful program can enhance their artistic vision.
Learning to see and make the imagined real
